Adam Seidel was elected the new chair of the Eden Prairie School Board.

New member Beth Fletcher was elected vice chair; Casper, a member since 2019 was re-elected treasurer; Dwivedy, a member since 2019, was re-elected board clerk.

The board approved salaries for the upcoming year:

    Chair: $6,600

    Vice Chair: $5,700

    Board members: $4,800

    Meeting calendar approved; guidelines reviewed

The board approved its meeting calendar through June. All meetings are at 6 p.m. at the Administrative Services Center (ASC). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, community members are not allowed to be in the boardroom. Meetings are live streamed in a room the ASC that allows for appropriate social distancing. Meetings also are broadcast on Zoom Webinar.

Links for the webinars are posted ahead of each meeting on the district’s website at edenpr.org/community/school-board/agendas-and-materials. Meeting videos are also posted in the same location a few days after each meeting.

Community members who want to comment to the board must complete and submit a comment card before the start of the board meeting. They will be allowed three minutes to speak.

Board guidelines advise that no response will be provided to comments at the board meeting but that the board chair or district administration will respond later if follow-up is required.

See complete guidelines at https://www.edenpr.org/community/school-board (below school board member pictures). If you want to communicate with the entire board, email schoolboard@edenpr.org.
