SouthWest Transit will provide bus service to the 2023 Minnesota State Fair from Thursday to Sunday, Aug. 24 to 27, and again from Wednesday, Aug. 30, to Sunday, Sept. 3. There will be no service on Monday or Tuesday this year.

The dates for the 2023 Minnesota State Fair are Thursday, Aug. 24, to Monday, Sept. 4. SouthWest Transit’s State Fair service will operate from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on those dates, with buses departing every 20 minutes or when they fill up. The last bus to the fair leaves at 7 p.m., and the last bus returning from the fair leaves at 11 p.m.

The round-trip cost to and from the fair is $6. On Thursday, Aug. 24, seniors may ride for $3 and military members for free.

Boarding locations will be at SouthWest Station in Eden Prairie, SouthWest Village in Chanhassen, and East Creek Station in Chaska.
