A total of 30,929 Eden Prairie residents voted in the Tuesday, Nov. 8, election.

That, according to Eden Prairie City Clerk Nicole Tingley, amounted to 72% percent of the total number of registered voters (42,953) in the city.

In 2018, the last midterm election, 33,086 Eden Prairie residents voted. That amounted to 79% of the total number of registered voters (41,794) in the city.

According to unofficial election results from Tuesday’s election on the Secretary of State’s website, Democratic statewide candidates fared well in Eden Prairie.
