    Robert ‘Andy’ Bergan

    Robert Andrew “Andy” Bergan, age 79, of St. Bonifacius, passed away Friday, April 28, at Eden Prairie Senior Living.

    A private family memorial will be held at a later date at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie.

    Andy was born June 28, 1943, the son of Robert and Marianne (LeCount) Bergan at the University Of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. Andy graduated from Bradley High School in 1961 and Concordia University Moorhead in 1965. He served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy in October of 1965.

    On June 21, 1969, Andy was united in marriage with Letitia “Tish” Schulte at St. Mark Lutheran Church in San Francisco, California.

    Andy was a detailed person who led him to have many occupations over his working career. He had worked for many companies which included IBM, Leggs, and Fed Ex. Andy was always active in the communities in which he lived. He was a member of organizations such as Lions, Rotary and Jaycees. He was also an active member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.  

    When not working or volunteering his time, Andy enjoyed watching sports, especially the Minnesota Twins. He also had a great interest in everything transportation. Andy studied modes of transportation and had a fantastic memory. He also loved studying family history.

    Andy is preceded in death by his wife Letitia (Schulte) “Tish” Bergan; parents Robert and Marianne Bergan; a nephew; and two brothers-in-law.

    Andy is survived by his brother Peter (Deborah Jindra) Bergan; sisters Nancy Hotzler, Barbara (John Rumps) Bergan, and Rachael Bergan; three nephews and one niece.
