Raise a pint to The PROP Shop and bid on silent auction items for a good cause at its inaugural Bids and Brews fundraiser 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Fat Pants Brewing Co. in Eden Prairie.
Tickets for the event are $10 and include one drink ticket. Appetizers will be served, and additional drinks are available for purchase from Fat Pants’ wide selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.
The silent auction, which is already live for bidding, features “gift cards, merchandise, and services generously donated by local companies and community members,” said Mandi Karulf, who is organizing the auction. “The money raised will go towards serving families in the community.”
The 70 auction packages cover a wide range of categories from unique experiences, spa and beauty, and sports memorabilia to jewelry, health and fitness, and food and gourmet.

Items up for bid include an autographed Vikings football, a Minnesota Wild swag bag, a home theater projector, beers from around the world, tickets to the Minnesota Orchestra, a Saints game, or the theater (courtesy of the Eden Prairie High School drama department), and dining at Tavern 4 & 5, Redstone, Crave, Wildfire, Kona Grill, and more.
Other items include a cocktail-making class for two at Flying Dutchman Spirits, tickets to the Minnesota Zoo, Valleyfair, and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, and a membership to the Blizzard Ski and Snowboard School.
There is also a wine pull and a “fund a need” category. Bidding at the event will start at 6 p.m. and close at 8 p.m.
