Winter Blast: Warm Weather Edition

While we don’t have snow for sledding or ice for outdoor skating, we still have you covered for some free family fun. Read more about this event.

Saturday, Feb. 3

10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Outdoor Center
Go on a nature hike, meet the resident animals, take a walk around Staring Lake and warm up by the bonfire with some free hot chocolate (while supplies last)

Noon–1:30 p.m.
Art Center
Create free winter themed art projects led by Art Center instructors and warm up with a free treat (while supplies last)

All Day
Eden Prairie Parks
Enjoy a self-guided winter hike in one of Eden Prairie’s 52 parks. Visit edenprairie.org/Parks for locations.

Winter Blast has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3.

A free winter event celebrating outdoor recreation!

Bundle up and drop by to participate in a variety of fun outdoor activities for all ages.

• Art activities 
• Bonfire
• Eden Prairie Figure Skating Club performance
• Free equipment rental
• Kids scavenger hunt
• Ice rink DJ
• Outdoor Center: Winter in Minnesota
• Selfie station
• Winter recreation activities: cross-country skiing, ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing, snowtubing

Food and Beverages

• The Eden Prairie Mobile Café will be selling hot chocolate, coffee and s’mores kits.
• Free Qdoba samples while supplies last.

Parking

Free parking available at Staring Lake Park and Flying Cloud Fields. No event shuttles will be running.
