What the Watershed District Does For You

… and What You Can Do For the Watershed: A Presentation by Peggy Kvam, Board Manager, Nine Mile Creek Watershed District

Who is responsible for the water quality of Minnesota’s streams, lakes and wetlands? We will look at policies from federal, state and local agencies that regulate, fund and manage our precious fresh water resources. We will explore some water quality improvement projects implemented in our community by the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District. The presentation will wrap up with a discussion of actions that you can take personally to be good stewards of Minnesota’s waters.
