Eden Prairie Players’ is excited to announce that The Curious Savage is finally here! Postponed in 2020, it now opens November 12! We return to The Loading Dock Theatre at PiM Arts High School for this heartfelt comedy about foolish dreams and questioned sanity.

Mrs. Ethel Savage has been left a sizable inheritance by her late husband and she wants to make the best use of it, in spite of her stepchildren’s efforts to get their hands on it for personal gain. The stepchildren move her to The Cloisters sanitarium until she ‘comes to her senses’ and discloses the location of the missing negotiable bonds.

There, Mrs. Savage becomes friends with other residents, who attempt to assist in her efforts to conceal the location of the bonds and support her antics to lead her stepchildren on a merry chase to find them.

The dominant mood is high comedy, and the audience is left with a feeling that the neglected virtues of kindness and affection have not been entirely lost in a world that seems at times motivated only by greed and dishonesty.

Health and Safety Advisory: We are implementing some changes in this time of COVID 19. Seats will be pre-assigned based on the order in which tickets are purchased. Clusters of seats will be spaced. Instead of the full capacity of 100 seats we will sell just 75.  Audience members, staff & volunteers must be masked regardless of vaccination status.
