The Best of Classics 2021

The Best of Classics will be performed by Minnesota Ballet School dancers on Saturday, May 15, to celebrate the 20th year of classical ballet training. Recital pieces will perform original dance choreography as well as classical variations from world–renowned ballets, including Harlequinade, Don Quixote, Balanchine’s Tarantella, and Swan Lake.

The delightful “Swan Lake” is a masterwork in the classical ballet performance canon with choreography by Marius Petipa and music by Piotr Tchaikovsky.  Colorful costumes, inventive choreography, and ageless music combine to make a memorable experience for theatergoers of all ages.
