Seeds
Grades K-5. Observe and investigate a variety of familiar and unfamiliar types of seeds. Become a seed detective and learn about the parts of a seed, their function, and the “secret code” inside! Dissect an edamame seed.
Explore the life cycle of a seed and the variety of ways seeds are dispersed. Discuss why seeds are so important for life on earth and reinforce learning through reading a story, playing a seed matching game,
making a seed craft, or if the season allows, taking a sock mitten walk outside.
