Social Security Disability Benefit 101

Social Security Disability provides a source of income to those who are unable to work due to a severe disability. Learn about the basic requirements for Social Security Disability programs, and if this may be an option for you. The presentation will cover two of the basic programs – Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) – and will include information on work requirements for eligibility, income limitations for programs, information Social Security will review when considering a claim, plus options if you are denied Social Security Disability. The session is free but registration is required. Presented by Central Minnesota Legal Services in partnership with Hennepin County Law Library. Funded by Friends of the Hennepin County Library.
