Social Security Disability Benefit 101 – Virtual Event

Social Security Disability provides a source of income to those who are unable to work due to a severe disability. Learn about the basic requirements for Social Security Disability programs, and if this may be an option for you. The presentation will cover two of the basic programs – Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) – and will include information on work requirements for eligibility, income limitations for programs, information Social Security will review when considering a claim, plus options if you are denied Social Security Disability. Presented by Central Minnesota Legal Services and funded by Friends of the Hennepin County Library.
