Riley Creek Woods Garlic Mustard Pull

Join the newly formed Friends of Eden Prairie Parks on Sunday June 4 from 9:30-11:30am at Riley Creek Woods Conservation Area trailhead for a Garlic Mustard Pull. Bring your own work gloves, weed puller, and large plastic or cloth bags to collect invasive Garlic Mustard plants.

Dress appropriately, there may also be wood nettle, which can cause burning and itching, so closed sturdy shoes, long pants and shirt sleeves, as well as mosquito repellant is highly recommended. We will meet an entrance path near 9795 Canopy Trail, Eden Prairie at 9:30 and walk a hilly 1.5 mile trail pulling any garlic mustard patches we see along the way. There will also be a great selection of ferns, sedges and possibly a few lingering wildflowers as well.
