Professor Doug Tallamy Presents HOMEGROWN NATIONAL PARK

One of the most important leaders and champions of the native plant movement, Doug Tallamy will give a live-streamed presentation on the HOMEGROWN NATIONAL PARK initiative, a grass-roots solution to a serious global problem. It is basic earth stewardship that empowers us to become forces in conservation by enhancing the ecological value of our landscapes. At the end of the presentation, Heather Holm will moderate a Q&A. Well-known nationally and in her home state of Minnesota, Heather Holm is an award-winning author, speaker, and conservationist specializing in pollinators.

The Mission of Homegrown National Park: To regenerate biodiversity and ecosystem function because every human being on this planet needs diverse highly productive ecosystems to survive.

You may live stream from home via Zoom, or attend the Viewing Party in Eden Prairie.

The Zoom link and Doug Tallamy’s full bio are on our website.

The Viewing Party will offer refreshments and free copies of our booklets Attracting Birds and Butterflies to Your Garden with Native Plants, and Climate Resilient Landscapes. Local experts will be present to answer questions following the presentation.

We hope you can join us for this special presentation, co-sponsored by Wild Ones Prairie Edge and The City of Minnetonka.
