Pollinator Planting Workshop

May 30 at 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

$15

This workshop is for residents who are ready to transform a specific part of their yard into a haven for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, especially the endangered Rusty patched bumblebee and Monarch butterfly. Participants learn about plant selection and placement techniques that will help them create a pocket planting that blooms throughout the growing season.

At this workshop, participants meet one-on-one and in small groups with experts to get feedback on their project plans and learn about local resources for getting their projects in the ground.

To provide attendees with as much project assistance as possible, this workshop is split into two parts: 1) a self-paced Resilient Yards online course, which you will find in our Resilient Yards Online Learning Series, and 2) a live Zoom session with one-on-one time with Landscape Designers where you can get feedback on your yard and planting project. The Resilient Yards online course was created so you can go through all the foundational educational content on your own in preparation for your Zoom workshop session.

This workshop is hosted by the city of Eden Prairie. Register here.
