Needle Felted Pets
Grades 6-12. Felting is the process of adding friction to fiber to create fabric. Using wool fibers, a special felting needle, and a hand-drawn template of your pet, or a cookie cutter for guidance, create a furry felted pal using this ancient technique! Materials provided. Collaborator: Textile Center. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
