Miller Park Rain Garden Planting
The City of Eden Prairie recently opened eight new pickleball courts in Miller Park.
Plans are underway to transform the two adjacent drainage areas into beautiful and functional rain gardens. The City has already purchased all the native plants and will provide the necessary tools—all we need is your help!
Event Details
- What: Plant two rain gardens with hundreds of native plants.
- When: Wednesday, September 17, from 1-3 p.m.
- Where: Miller Park, near the new pickleball courts.
- Why: These rain gardens are a crucial part of the design, capturing rainwater and preventing excess runoff from entering Mitchell Lake. Your work will directly help protect the lake’s health.
