Hear what happens behind-the-scenes at the Fire department and learn how our firefighting team minimizes risk and increases safety in the community. This session is an overview of the MNFIRE Initiative which covers firefighter wellness as it relates to mental wellbeing, cardiac prevention, cancer prevention and over all stress management. Check out the new safety toys and equipment for fire fighter safety. You can take your turn to put on a full firefighters gear to see just how heavy and safe it is. Registration deadline Aug. 24
