Family Fun at the Art Center
Spend some quality family time together while learning new skills in a fun environment. No experience necessary. All supplies provided. Any registered youth ages 7 – 14 must have an enrolled adult with them. Both youth and accompanying adults must register and will create/take home projects. Family Fun glass offerings for ages 9+ with adult only.

Oct. 1, Clay or Fairy Gnome Home
Liven up a home garden, flower bed or backyard planting with clay artwork. Participants use the coil method and colorful underglaze to create a magical house for a fairy or gnome. Completed projects available 2 weeks after class.
Nov. 12, Glass Snowflakes
Winter is coming and what better way to celebrate than with a unique ornament, window hanging or gift made of beautiful glass? The theme is all things snowflake, so get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience learning fused-glass techniques. Participants must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Completed projects available 2 weeks after class. Ages 9+ with adult only.
Dec. 10, Metal Tooling- Family Crest
This workshop starts with a brief introduction to the history of metal tooling, commonly used to decorate armor, statues, tools and signs. Then, participants learn various embossing foil techniques such as drawing, stamping, rub-transferring, hammering and coloring to create their very own family crest.
