Family Field Trip: Works Museum (on site at CMS)

Join Community Education select Fridays this summer for fun, educational family field trips. These trips provide a great opportunity for the entire family to learn together!

Who: Eden Prairie Schools students ages 4+ with a caregiver! Families with multiple students are welcome to join, but all youth under 18 must attend with a registered adult. Register each person (all children and caregivers) attending.

When: Select Fridays throughout the summer, beginning June 24. Families will depart between 9:30–10:00 AM and return between 2:00–3:00 PM.

Where: A variety of locations throughout the Twin Cities! Busing will be provided to and from Central Middle School (CMS). SW Prime rides are available if you are unable to get to CMS.

7/29/22 (offered in collaboration with PeopleFest!) – Shakopee Hocokata Ti Mdewakanton Sioux Community Museum

8/5/22 – Westwood Hills Nature Center

8/12/22 – Mill City Museum

8/26/22 – Works Museum (on-site Family Night)

IMPORTANT NOTES‭:

Pack a lunch or to bring money to purchase your own food. Ready to eat Every Meal food bags will be available, if needed.

Participants must ride the bus to and from the event. 

Spots are limited, and no walk-ons will be accepted. Register early to save your spots!

To protect the health and safety of participants, you may not attend if you or anyone in your immediate household is experiencing symptoms of COVID or is sick.

Friday Family Field Trips are available to Eden Prairie Schools families at no cost thanks to the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER). The goal of this program is to close “opportunity gaps,” so all youth can experience enriching learning activities with their families.
