Eden Prairie Optimist Club Meeting

Please bring a prospective new member (guest) to this next meeting to show the community how the Optimist Club Brings Out the Best in Kids!

The Optimist Club of Eden Prairie has been active in the community since 1978. Optimist Club members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves. Other programs and service projects that the Club is involved in include the Floyd Berntsen Annual Hooked on Fishing Event, Annual Optimist Kids “OK5K” on 4th of July, Eden Prairie Sings! competition, Youth Appreciation scholarships, Youth Crime & Drug Prevention, Halloween on the Mall, PROP donations, Minnesota Renewable Energy Society Solar Boat Regatta, Tour de Cure, Essay and Oratorical “Speech” scholarships and more. Many of the youth projects and scholarships are funded by proceeds earned from Christmas Tree sales at Santa’s North Pole Experience in Eden Prairie.
