Eden Prairie Memorial Day Ceremony

The Eden Prairie Veterans Committee will host a Memorial Day program at the Eden Prairie Veterans Memorial in Purgatory Creek Park. The program begins at 11:00 on Monday, May 31, and will honor two outstanding veterans, WWII Navy PBY Catalina crew member, Jim McDougall and Vietnam swift boat captain Lou Ellington. Hear patriot songs as Viking Civil Air Patrol cadets post the U.S. flag and the Eden Prairie Police Honor Guard raises the colors to full staff. Guest speaker Jim McDougall will discuss his South Pacific experiences on the PBY amphibious airplane.
