DAV of MN Women Veterans Recognition Day

The DAV of MN Women Veterans Committee will be hosting an Informational Seminar in honor of Women Veterans Recognition Day on June 12 from 1pm – 4pm at Historic Fort Snelling. This day is celebrated to honor the contributions and sacrifices of women who have served in the military. June 12 is the anniversary of the signing of the Women’s Armed Servies Integration Act of 1948. This act allowed women to serve as permanent members of the armed forces.

This event is Open to the Public and a family friendly event. Please come share in music, food, and camaraderie with others from throughout MN.
