What happens when we look beyond your own yards and scan the horizon for opportunities to “Claim Dirt” in our own communities? Roadside plantings, curb-cut rain gardens, schoolyard forests, “eco-squatting,” and more. Learn how several projects came to life in Mendota Heights through community and individual initiative, and collaboration with other entities. Learn about the successes, challenges, resources, and lessons learned from these projects that are now an important part of local community.
