Cars and Caves

Cars and Caves, the outdoor auto extravaganza of Antique, Classics, Collector, Exotic, Muscle, and Street Rod cars hosted by Chanhassen AutoPlex, continues its 2023 season on July 29.

The event is held from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month, through September, and highlights a different local, non-profit organization. In July, Special Olympics Minnesota will benefit from the generosity of guests who attend and offer donations, and/or participate in the silent auction. Special Olympics Minnesota offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round sports training and competitions.

Each month, more than 300 vehicles will roll in for display on the Chanhassen AutoPlex campus. Many of the 120 unique, personalized garage condos (referred to as Caves) will be open for visitors to see as well. Collector car owners are invited to attend and display their vehicle on a first-come/first-serve basis. Free, on-site parking will be available for guests.

• July 29th: American – Ford, Mopar, GM, Pontiac and etc.
• August 26th: British – MG, Mini, Aston, Jag, McLaren
• September 30th: German – Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, VW

Cars and Caves is family-friendly and free to attend, with food and beverages available on-site. This year, two Chanhassen businesses, Dog Park Gourmet Hot Dogs and Dandy Lion Coffee will be serving up tasty food and drinks each month.
