March 9, Watercolor Basics
Watercolor is a flexible and accessible medium to start painting. Instructor-led demonstrations cover the basic tools and a variety of methods such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and layering to produce a lovely still life image. Participants leave with a finished watercolor and confidence for further exploration.

March 23, Needle Felting- Landscape
Felting has been around since the Neolithic period, used to keep people warm and dry before knitting was invented. Currently, it is largely the process of locking wool pieces together to form 2D imagery or 3D objects. Using special needles to connect various colors of wool roving together, participants learn how to build a gorgeous 2D landscape with inspiration from their favorite place, photo or imagination.
