Adolescent Mental Health Warning Signs, Strategies, and Interventions for Parents

Join us virtually for the next EP Connects on Monday, April 4th at 7:00 pm.  The PTO is collaborating with our EPHS Administration and Deborah Cavitt, an advocate, trainee, and project director for Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health (MACMH) to bring you this important information. Youth mental health challenges have greatly increased during these unprecedented times. The COVID Pandemic, global warming, and world events have added to the everyday teenage stressors of homework, peer pressure and navigating relationships.

This presentation will help parents distinguish between typical teen mood swings and troubled teen emotions and behaviors. Parents will learn to recognize signs of serious mental health concerns in teens. Strategies and resources will be shared for prevention and early intervention for teens in a mental health crisis.
