55+ Driver 8 Hour Discount Course

The Minnesota Highway Safety Center will be offering 55+ Driver Discount Courses.

Whether you take behind the wheel training at our facility or a 55-plus driver discount course, you’re getting the latest and best in traffic safety information from certified professionals.

Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center has had a passion for driver safety since 1974. With every class we teach, we aim to provide educational activities that prevent financial loss, human trauma and promote the safe and efficient operation of the highway transportation system.

8 hour first time course: January 22 and 25, 2024 Register for Course 53985

5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. both days Eden Prairie Senior Center, 8950 Eden Prairie Rd

This class will save you up to 10 percent on your auto insurance. Completion of an eight-hour course qualifies you for the discount. To maintain the discount, you must complete a four-hour refresher every three years. A Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center certified instructor will update you on defensive-driving tips, changes in laws, vehicle technology, and traffic safety. The cost of the four-hour refresher course is $24 and the eight-hour course is $28.
