The Eden Prairie Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a driver involved in a hit-and-run incident on Sunday, Sept. 15.
At about 11:45 a.m., a dark-colored sedan, similar to a 2014 Hyundai Elantra, struck a young child riding a bicycle near the intersection of Homeward Hills Road and Silverwood Drive, according to a statement from police posted on social media Wednesday.
The child was treated by paramedics at the scene and released to their family.
Anyone with information about the driver or the vehicle is urged to contact the Eden Prairie Police Department at 952-949-6200, referencing case No. 24-033540.
