Eden Prairie is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Sustainable Eden Prairie Award, which honors local residents, businesses, or organizations for significant contributions to the community’s sustainability and vitality.
The nomination deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30. Eligible initiatives include projects that promote environmental sustainability within Eden Prairie.
Nominations can be submitted by anyone, including non-residents, on behalf of themselves or others. Properties or programs can be nominated in multiple categories.
The Sustainability Commission will select the award recipients, who will be notified in October. Recipients will be formally recognized at a City Council meeting later in the year and will receive a commemorative plaque.
