Children in Eden Prairie found a cool escape from the summer heat Tuesday evening at the Forest Hills Park Pop-up Splash Pad, 13708 Holly Road. The event offered kids the chance to meet local police and firefighters, grab a book from the pop-up library, and dive into a variety of fun activities.

The inflatable water slide and fire hose run were among the most popular attractions, drawing the largest crowds throughout the day. Along with these favorites, children also enjoyed lawn games and craft projects.
