The Eden Prairie Police Department reported the following incidents.

    • The Eden Prairie Police and Fire departments responded to a report that a plane flipped over upon landing at Flying Cloud Airport at about 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. The pilot was the only passenger on the fixed-wing single-engine plane. He was treated at the scene for minor injuries and released. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate. There are no further details available at this time.
    • A catalytic converter was stolen from a 2008 Honda Element parked in the employee portion of a lot outside Von Maur, 400 Prairie Center Drive, sometime on Sept. 15. The cost to replace was $1,400.
    • A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked at BRAAS Company, 7970 Wallace Road, between Sept. 2-9. The cost to repair the vehicle is $3,100.
    • About $3,600 worth of tools were stolen from a commercial vehicle parked at Prairie Electric Company, 6595 Edenvale Blvd., between Sept. 13-14. No damage was reported to the vehicle.
    • A purse was stolen from a car parked at Staring Lake Park, 14800 Pioneer Trail, on Sept. 16. The two victims discovered a window to the vehicle broken after returning from a walk around the lake. The contents of the purse included a wallet and prescription glasses.
    • A vehicle was reported broken into near the playground at Miller Park, 8208 Eden Prairie Road, at 5 p.m. Sept. 18. An Eden Prairie couple parked by the playground at 4:30 p.m. After returning to the vehicle, they noticed a broken window and several items missing, including a purse and its contents. Later that day, the victims reported a failed attempt to use two stolen credit cards at Walmart to buy $1,790 in items.
    • An Edina woman was at her child’s softball game on Sept. 18 at Miller Park. She was alerted of a $1,700 fraudulent charge on her credit card at Walmart in Eden Prairie. The charge was denied. She assumed it was an online issue and didn’t report it to the police until 7 p.m. That was when she discovered her car broken into and a purse and its contents missing.
Police believe the two Miller Park incidents are related.
