EP launches Arbor Day tree sale for residents on Friday

EPLN Staff ReportsBy EPLN Staff ReportsMarch 20, 20241 Min Read

The City of Eden Prairie, in partnership with Tree Trust, will open its annual Arbor Day tree sale at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 22. The sale will offer Eden Prairie residents a limited number of shade trees at discounted rates.

According to the city, each of the 400 available trees ranges from 4 to 8 feet in size, depending on the species. Residents are limited to two trees per address.

Trees must be picked up at the city’s Arbor Day Walk and Green Fair, scheduled for Saturday, April 27, at Round Lake Park, between 9 a.m. and noon. Participants must pick up their trees personally or arrange for someone to do so on their behalf.

The city provides a tree sale preview on its website.
