Eden Prairie held its annual Citywide Open House on Oct. 7 at the Eden Prairie City Center and Fire Station No. 1.

Residents received a behind-the-scenes look at the police department, fire department, public works, parks and recreation, and other city programs.

LifeLink and State Police helicopters arrived and departed throughout the event.

The fire department showcased “Close Before You Doze” and sprinkler demonstrations, while the police department’s K9 team highlighted the skills of their dogs, Jax and Gus.
