Eden Prairie Community Foundation hires new executive director

EPLN Staff ReportsBy EPLN Staff ReportsApril 5, 20221 Min Read

The Eden Prairie Community Foundation Board announced in a Tuesday, April 5, press release that it selected Greg Leeper to be the next executive director.

    Greg Leeper

Leeper comes to this position with career experiences in higher education and community building, stated the press release.

In addition to his professional experience, Leeper has lived in Eden Prairie for over nine years. He has served the community as a volunteer coach and as chair of the Human Rights and Diversity Commission. The commission recently published the City of Eden Prairie Race Equity Report.

“Greg is truly well positioned to continue to advance the impact of the foundation and move our recently completed strategic plan forward,” said Foundation Board Chair Carlos Berger. “We look forward to welcoming Greg to the foundation.”

Leeper will replace Mark Weber, retiring as executive director at the end of June after eight years of service to the foundation and the community. He will officially begin his service in early July.

According to the press release, the mission of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation is “to enrich our community through philanthropy, collaboration, and leadership. We’re able to accomplish our mission through strong leadership, dedicated volunteers, and generous donors and supporters.”
