Phenix Salon Suites, a new business at Eden Prairie Center, will host an open house on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. The business bills itself as a “boutique salon suite concept” and offers 35 fully equipped, private salon suites for local beauty and wellness professionals.
The open house will include food, non-alcoholic beverages and giveaways, as well as tours of the suites and an outdoor topiary display.
The 6,244-square-foot business is on the Flying Cloud Drive side of the mall, next to Gyu Mai Japanese BBQ, and has an exterior entrance only.
The location is owned and operated by Kenny and Jeni Schultz of Chaska. Phenix’s model allows independent stylists, barbers, estheticians and other specialists to run their own businesses in a turnkey space without the overhead of a traditional salon.
