Minnesota DNR Public Comment Session on Muskie Plan
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is inviting people to share their thoughts on a draft update of the state’s long-range plan for muskellunge. Bryant Lake in Eden Prairie is one of the Minnesota lakes that DNR regularly stocks with tiger muskie.
The draft plan will be used to guide muskie management in Minnesota for the next 15 years.
Minnesota DNR staff will host an evening online webinar to provide an overview of the plan and its purpose, answer questions, and collect public input. The online webinar is scheduled for 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, and a link to the webinar is available on the Minnesota DNR’s muskie page. Registration is not required for the event.
