A 2022 felony charge against Dustin Raymond Sellman, 54, of New Hope, was dismissed by prosecutors on Aug. 10, 2023, according to Hennepin County court records. Sellman had earlier pleaded not guilty.
Sellman was arrested by Eden Prairie police in the early morning of July 28, 2022, near Valley View Road and Washington Avenue South. Officers reported finding saw blades, power tools and 10 catalytic converters that appeared freshly cut.
He was later charged in Hennepin County District Court with possession of burglary or theft tools. The charge was ultimately dropped, closing the case without a conviction.
