Olympic Hills neighborhood hosting annual 9/11 Lemonade & Cookie Stand

EPLN Staff ReportsBy EPLN Staff ReportsSeptember 8, 20251 Min Read

The annual Olympic Hills Neighborhood 9/11 Lemonade & Cookie Stand will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at 9414 Olympia Drive in Eden Prairie, at the corner of Olympia and Painters Ridge.

The event, organized in partnership with North Star Marine Veterans, raises money for Minnesota Veterans Homes and the Como Park Marine Corps JROTC. The presentation of the colors will take place at both 5 and 6 p.m.

The stand began in 2001 as a way for neighborhood families to honor the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks and support first responders, service members and veterans. After its 2021 run, the event paused for two years before returning in 2024 with new organizers and community volunteers.
