Eden Prairie schools receive high rankings from Niche

Maddie RobinsonBy Maddie RobinsonAugust 12, 20251 Min Read

Two Eden Prairie schools and the school district as a whole earned top spots from Niche’s 2025 rankings, an online review and rating resource.

Niche primarily ranks K-12 schools and colleges, but it also reviews and provides information about cities and neighborhoods in the United States.

The International School of Minnesota was named the best private high school in Minnesota, beating out Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul, St. Paul Academy and Summit School and Saint John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville.

Eden Prairie High School (EPHS) was ranked as the second-best public high school in Minnesota, with only Wayzata High School higher. EPHS ranked above Minnetonka High School, Edina High School and Eastview High School in Apple Valley.

Eden Prairie Schools was also named the third-best school district in the state, coming in behind Wayzata Public Schools and the Minnetonka Public School District.

The 2025 rankings are based on Niche’s analysis of U.S. Department of Education data and millions of student and parent reviews.
