Eden Prairie Liquor is moving to the next step in naming its new THC gummy.

After receiving 801 name suggestions for the berry-flavored gummy, a panel chose the top three names, according to a press release from the city. A Facebook poll opened Monday for residents to vote for their favorite, and will remain open through Friday, Aug. 8.
The three finalists are Little Berry on the Prairie, Eden BerrieZzz and Prairie Dreamin’. The name with the most votes at noon Friday will become the product’s official name.
Eden Prairie Liquor is the first municipal liquor operation in Minnesota to create its own THC gummy, liquor operations manager Jaime Urbina said. Depending on sales, the city may expand into producing additional THC products.
The gummy is intended to function as a sleep aid and contains 5 milligrams of THC and 30 milligrams of CBM, a cannabis compound believed to aid sleep, Urbina said. Each package will contain 10 gummies.
The city is partnering with Emerald Elements for production. Urbina said gummies are already in production and are expected to hit store shelves in September.
