Construction will begin this fall on a new Veridian Credit Union branch at 8280 Flying Cloud Drive, following Eden Prairie City Council approval earlier this month for the redevelopment of a former Mister Car Wash site.
The Waterloo, Iowa-based credit union first entered the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area in 2023 and currently operates one Minnesota branch located inside the business center at 6385 Old Shady Oak Road in Eden Prairie.
“We’ve enjoyed getting to know the Eden Prairie community over the last couple of years,” said Veridian President and CEO Renee Christoffer. “We’re grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received, and we’re excited to be growing our presence and commitment to new and existing members there.”
Branch operations will move from the existing office into the new branch upon opening, which is expected in fall 2026. The existing space will transition to an office for support staff whose services are not member-facing. In total, three Veridian employees will move to the new branch, and four additional positions will be created. The new location is intended to create greater accessibility for new and existing members, with 2,890 square feet, a drive-up lane, and a 24-hour ATM.
