Reach for Resources (Reach) has officially merged its Developmental Disabilities (DD) and Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) and Brain Injury (BI) Waiver Case management teams into one unified department.

Reach had provided DD waiver case management services for nearly a decade before expanding its offerings in 2023 to include CADI and BI waiver case management. These services were initially offered separately but are now combined into a single department to align internal processes and provide a more cohesive experience for individuals and families.

This new chapter is led by Nathan Orr, director of waiver case management, and Mackenzie Nadeau, the newly appointed assistant director. Together, they will guide the department through this change by focusing on consistency, clarity and collaboration.

The goal of this new department is to empower staff to take ownership of their roles, operate with greater independence, and make informed decisions to help further support the individuals and families Reach for Resources serves. According to a press release, the organization believes that, “By reducing overlap and redundancies, we can build a culture of trust and autonomy, using this merged department to cultivate a work environment where every team member feels valued, capable, and connected to our mission.”

Additionally, the press release states, this department shift reflects Reach’s commitment to investing in people and purpose, laying the foundation for long-term impact, growth and sustainable success.

Reach for Resources is a 40-year-old organization that provides mental health support and services, therapy and resources to people with disabilities throughout Minnesota, with the majority living in the seven-county metro area.

Trail by Reach provides transportation for adults with developmental disabilities living in Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Edina, Golden Valley, St. Louis Park and Richfield to recreation, leisure and educational programs offered by Adaptive Recreation & Learning Exchange and also by Reach.
