An Eden Prairie police squad car responding to a medical emergency Friday evening collided with another vehicle, leaving both drivers with minor injuries, according to police.

The crash occurred at about 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Prairie Center and Columbine drives. The officer, driving a Dodge Charger, was en route to a call when the vehicle collided with a 2021 Audi Q5.

Both drivers were taken for medical evaluation. Police described their injuries as minor.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating.
