With pizza boxes open and footballs flying, Eden Prairie High School’s Class of 2025 gathered Tuesday evening, June 3, for a low-key sendoff under cloudy skies at Aerie Stadium.
The annual Senior Sunset event gave soon-to-be graduates one last chance to connect before commencement. Students mingled on the turf, playing spikeball and tossing footballs while waiting for the sun to break through.
Many students brought blankets to stretch out across the field. Little Caesars pizza was served, and Principal Jaysen Anderson walked the stadium, chatting with students as the sky slowly shifted.
The sunset eventually peeked through the clouds, capping off a quiet night of food, games and goodbyes – a moment to mark the end of high school, without fanfare. All the pomp and circumstance took place the next night, when the Class of 2025 graduated at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
