Mark Anderson of Eden Prairie High School was selected as BestPrep’s Educator of  Excellence and was recognized at BestPrep’s Annual Luncheon event in May at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.

Anderson commented, “BestPrep has been a great partner in enhancing the experiences of students in the Senior Intern Program at Eden Prairie High School. The success of student experiences depends on the volunteers, and BestPrep provides over 120 volunteers who conduct  professional mock interviews and connect with students in the eMentor Program that helps students expand their professional network and learn professional communication skills.”

He added, “It has allowed me to expand my professional network, which in turn helps my  students.”

This year, the Educator of Excellence Awards were given to 15 educators from Twin  Cities and greater Minnesota schools. BestPrep’s Annual Luncheon is a yearly event that showcases its educational programs with  special recognition for those students, teachers, and volunteers whose efforts have been  outstanding during the last few years. Nearly 500 guests were in attendance.
