
On a blustery evening at Aerie Stadium, Eden Prairie fell 11-6 to Wayzata in boys lacrosse Thursday.
The Eagles’ goal scorers included junior attacker Brady Palmer, who netted two goals, as well as senior midfielders Johnny Kleis and Braden Cole, junior attacker Oscar Berggren, and senior defender Jeremy Fredericks.
Eden Prairie, ranked No. 4 in the state, dropped to 7-2 on the season. Wayzata, ranked No. 10, improved to 9-3.
Cole entered the game as the Eagles’ leading scorer, with 25 goals and 7 assists for 32 points.
Eden Prairie will look to rebound Saturday in a top-five road matchup against Benilde-St. Margaret’s. The noon game pits the No. 4 Eagles against the fifth-ranked Red Knights.
