Eden Prairie’s girls lacrosse team mounted a late rally Monday night but fell short in an 11-9 loss at Chanhassen High School.

The Eagles scored the final two goals of the game but couldn’t overcome the Storm, who improved to 2-6. Eden Prairie dropped to 1-9 on the season.

Junior attacker Sara David led the Eagles with three goals. Junior midfielder Allie Dahl and sophomore midfielder Kelsey Pottinger each scored twice. Senior midfielder Macey Haase and eighth-grade attacker Avery Cooper also added goals.

Eden Prairie will celebrate Senior Night at 7:30 p.m. Thursday when it hosts seventh-ranked Wayzata in its final home game of the regular season. The team will recognize five varsity seniors and one junior varsity senior.
