Amid predictions of severe weather conditions for the afternoon and evening of Monday, April 28, Eden Prairie Schools announced it would close all schools and district offices at 4:30 p.m. The scheduled 6 p.m. school board meeting has been rescheduled for May 5.

All buildings will be shut and all evening activities will be canceled, with the exception of Eagle Zone after-school childcare, which will remain open until 6 p.m. Regular after-school transportation will continue as normal, but activity buses will be canceled.

Also due to the weather, the 6 p.m. school board business meeting will not take place as scheduled. Dirk Tedmon, the executive director of marketing and communications for Eden Prairie Schools, said it would now take place on Monday, May 5. The agenda and materials for the meeting can be viewed on the school board website.
