Eden Prairie’s Pet Evolution pet supply store will host its annual “Washes for Wishes” event on Saturday, April 26. Between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., pet parents can bathe their dog in one of the store’s self-serve washing stations for a minimum donation of $20 to Make-A-Wish, a charity that grants wishes for children with critical illnesses.
“Dogs bring so much joy into our lives, and through ‘Washes for Wishes,’ we’re able to spread a little bit of that joy to those who need it most while leaving the bathing clean up to us,” said Rian Thiele, CEO and founder of Pet Evolution. “We believe in committing to our communities and doing right for them so this event is just one way we can join hands – and paws – to support the incredible work of Make-A-Wish.”
No appointment is necessary for the dog washes, which include anti-slip mats, easy step-in access for large or senior dogs, hand-held sprayers, natural shampoo, unlimited bath towels and professional-grade blow-dryers.
The event will take place at all Pet Evolution locations in honor of World Wish Day, which Make-A-Wish celebrates on April 29 to commemorate more than 40 years of the organization. Pet Evolution first announced its national partnership with Make-A-Wish in 2021. The Eden Prairie Pet Evolution is located at 8248 Commonwealth Drive.
